The trade fair and event specialist "All about Live Com" and the solar company BROKO were acquired for a new project logistics business area.
Our FTL department has expanded its customer portfolio to include the axle manufacturer SAF HOLLAND and MAT Commercial Vehicle Products.
To expand our mechanical engineering logistics expertise, 3 more Mercedes Actros tractor units and a special trailer for extra-wide special transports under tarpaulin for high-quality goods will be delivered this year.
In addition, a 25-ton heavy-duty forklift truck from the Swedish manufacturer KALMAR will be added to our 50-ton indoor crane at the Rohr site in Lower Bavaria.
Since 01.03.2024, we have had a new location in the Berlin area with Velten, from which we carry out daily shuttle transports and have successfully expanded our expertise in the FTL network.

2022
Purchase of 10 own trucks, the first is already in use.
Construction of a new warehouse logistics hall with a 50-ton overhead crane at the 93352 Rohr site.
For our customer Knorr-Bremse, we purchased an e-truck for shuttle services between Garching and the Knorr sites in Munich.

2021
In order to cope with growth this year, GLX buys a further 30 fully digitalized trailers from market leader Schmitz Cargobull. Warehouse capacity at the Bielefeld site is also expanded by renting a further 2,000 m².
At the Rohr site in Lower Bavaria, GLX acquires a 10,200 m² site to build a warehouse logistics hall with a 50-ton overhead crane for the mechanical engineering industry.
GLX expands the Petersberg/SA site into a branch office with a fleet of vehicles as a sign of its commitment to the region and expansion of capacity.

2020
With the "3Axis Group, Zaragossa/Spain", another mechanical engineering company for Europe-wide machine logistics was acquired.
GLX Logistik AG bucked the market trend and continued to increase its revenue and earnings in 2020!

2019
Knorr-Bremse AG extends its contract with GLX Logistik AG until 2023.
Voltabox and Paragon Movasys, both electromobility companies, transfer further warehouse logistics services to GLX Logistik AG.
GLX Logistik AG takes over distribution in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for Foster Refrigerator, UK.
2018
With Realizer GmbH, a manufacturer of 3D printers, TrendAlliance GmbH/Starnberg and metron Vilshofen GmbH, further attractive new customers were acquired and another financial year with double-digit growth rates was concluded.

2017
GLX Logistik AG has been awarded the contract for the transportation of new machines from the Bielefeld plant as well as the country supply to Austria as part of a further tender by DMG MORI AG.

2016
GLX Logistik AG is awarded the contract by EUROBAUSTOFF Ost GmbH, Petersberg/Saxony-Anhalt, for distribution for the entire eastern German federal states.
Opening of the scheduling office in Petersberg/Wallwitz.
In order to cope with growth, GLX Logistik AG orders 30 special lightweight trailers from the manufacturer Schwarzmüller in Austria for 1 million euros.

2015
The Bielefeld warehouse is expanded.
Production materials are picked "just-in-sequence" for Gildemeister Drehmaschinen GmbH and made available for production.
GLX Logistik AG wins a Europe-wide tender to supply Knorr-Bremse AG's Aldersbach plant with approx. 2,500 truckloads per year.

GLX Logistik AG opens another warehouse in Bielefeld.
GLX Logistik AG takes over the temporary storage of production materials and packaging of end devices for subsidiaries of the mechanical engineering group DMG MORI AG.

Expansion of the logistics warehouse in Nandlstadt to 8,000 m².
The GLX Logistik AG sites in Garching and Nandlstadt are approved as open customs warehouses (OZL).
GLX Logistik AG is awarded the contract for the entire Bavarian distribution of EUROBAUSTOFF Zentrallager Bayern GmbH, Rohr/Lower Bavaria.
